Parador de Arcos de la Frontera

The Parador de Arcos de la Frontera is located in the historic neighbourhood of the city, the Plaza del Cabildo, surrounded by monuments such as the Church of Santa María, the Castle and City Hall. Located on the banks of the Guadalete, the Hotel ex casa del Corregidor, has a splendid view of the stream’s valley and the picturesque historic centre of Arcos.

Located only 30 km from Jerez de la Frontera, it is the ideal starting point to visit the vineyards or the white villages. Jerez is famous worldwide for its fortified wine that bears the same name:Xeres or Sherry.
You can also visit horse exhibitions or a cattle station of fighting bulls. And just a short distance away there’s the magnificent Jerez Costa de la Luz, with its sandy beaches and fascinating coastal city of Cadiz.

Arcos is one of the white towns, but there are many others to admire as well, such as Grazalema, Zahara and the little town of Ronda, a “pueblo blanco” a little big biggier but very captivating with its white-washed houses, wrought iron fences and vases filled with colourful flowers.

All the rooms come with a terrace with a magnificent view of Arcos. Inside there is a typical Andalusian patio and traditional decorative elements such as beams and terracotta tiles. Wood beams, arches and beautiful rugs complete the decor of the Parador.

In a cosy and welcoming environment, the restaurant prepares delicious dishes typical of this mountain region every day such asthe "corvina ha roteña" (fatty sauce), Bull's tail and a twelve-course sample menu.
