Château d'Artigny

The white stones of the majestic Château d’Artigny, the dream Belle Époque castle of François Coty, the famous perfumer, rise high above the Indre Valley. A 62-acre park with French garden, marble, and trompe l’œil frescoes characterize this jewel of a Castle Hotel. No expense was spared in the creation of this beautiful residence, located 9 miles south of Tours with its historic old town.

The 56 delightful rooms and suites are located in the 18th century style Castle or just opposite in the Pavillon d'Ariane, the Cité des Parfums or on the edge of the park at the Pavillon du Garde. Elegantly decorated in keeping with their location, they all offer marvellous views.

Faithful to the spirit of François Coty for whom nothing was too beautiful, the “Origan” restaurant welcomes you into sumptuous surroundings: magnificent wood panelling, decorated with gilt gold leaf reliefs, exquisite fluted columns with Corinthian capitals...

With sweeping views over the Indre, you can taste a sophisticated cuisine blending local specialties with subtle flavours and new inspirations. Three luxury lounges with unique fresco or ceiling paintings are available for more intimate meals. And in summer, you can fully enjoy the fine days by lunching on the L’Origan terrace.
