Domaine de Châteauneuf is a beautiful 18th century mansion in the heart of Provence, not far from Marseille, surrounded by lush greenery. The charming Provençal residence, which hosted Bonaparte’s family in 1794, is set within an exceptional natural environment at the foothills of the Sainte Baume range and in the middle of a first class internationally-renowned 18 hole golf course, the owners of which tastefully converted the Domaine into the present luxury hotel.

Its subtle elegance and beauty is in perfect harmony with the stunning setting: simple yet imposing, preserving the feeling of well-being in a genuine country residence. Set in the shade of century old trees, the fine mansion has been refurbished with a sense of understated luxury, using antique furniture and ancient red quarry tiles – natural, traditional products allowing you to enjoy the unique charms of the Provençal way of life.

The 30 rooms and suites, all spacious, calm and romantic, are individually decorated with the shades and scents of Provence, the inspirational theme is the lightness of Southern France, with soft, bright colours, that artists such as Cézanne and Matisse have portrayed in their paintings.
The delightful Gourmet restaurant will surprise you with gastronomic recipes - coastal, mountain and seasonal specialties, equally inspired by the colours of Provence. Facing Mount Aurélien, it opens onto shaded terraces in the garden where you can dine in a picturesque setting close to the pool.

This oasis of greenery is also the perfect place to relax, swim and rest under the shade of majestic cypress and chestnut trees. Other activities available on-site include tennis, ping-pong, volley ball, a giant chess board, and the traditional pétanque.
