“Baglio San Pietro” is at the gateway of Nicosia in the province of Enna, and is surrounded by an oak and hazelnut tree wood with birds, porcupines and rabbits living undisturbed.
The 17th century group of buildings still conserves today the characteristics of a fortified residence and farmland of the nobility. The country house welcomes guests today in the heart of a farm where pasture-grazing animals are still kept in traditional ways and the courtyard is right next to the cultivation of vines, olives and vegetables.
In the four buildings comprising the property are the bedrooms, tea room, games room, a small library and little farm museum with spaces dedicated to the exposition of local produce and craftsman products.
A small rural chapel is available for religious ceremonies and when needed, the restaurant salon is ready to host banquets and receptions.
