These grotto-houses are terraced, overlooking open widenings and little squares, in the typical ‘neighbouring’ formation, or distributed on different levels and connected by steps and small balconies, respecting the structural characteristics of the ‘hypogeal-houses’, with the fronts in tufa-stone and the backs excavated into the rock.
