“Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons” is a blend of great sophistication, bucolic paradise mingled with a touch of contemporary flair and style, all highlighted by its unspoilt, graceful position in the Great Milton countryside: just a short distance southeast of Oxford, cuddled in the cradle of the gently rolling hills gazing over the bountiful water meadows of the Thames Valley.

Founded in the 13th century, it has aged graciously, retaining many of its historic architectural features. Over the following centuries the manor underwent extensive additions, including a new staircase and entrance with ornamental gateway and a superb new south wing built of fine local stone.

So beloved was this manor that before its final passage into the loving hands of its present day proprietor, archives indicate that the previous owner’s deceased husband was not at all pleased with his wife’s decision to sell. Strangely a series of inexplicable events followed and a local priest was summoned to exorcise the ghost.

The manor is now the realization of a beautiful dream ready to receive all its distinguished guests.
