Tranquillity, history and aristocratic rurality, characterise the La Marazzana, the holiday farm estate situated on one of the Marche region’s rolling hills.
A few minutes from the Adriatic Sea and the Velluto di Senigallia beach in Ancona province, La Marazzana is on a well-cultivated farm estate where, as far as the eye can see, there are alternating large plains and undulating hills.
In 1673, the Carità di Venezia Monastery sold the estate to Count Corrado Magazzini of Piacenza. In 1791, his heirs had a chapel built adjacent to the main building and, observing the rules of symmetry, had a farm building built in front of the chapel. Today, these buildings have been transformed into apartments, meticulously down to the last detail from the type of plaster and paint to the electrical wiring.
At La Marazzana, the most enjoyable activity is to relax, but when desired guests can take the opportunity to enjoy rural walks, ‘rural-jogging’, equitation, swimming at the nearby beach and boat-hire.
