The Gleneagles Hotel

“Gleneagles Hotel” is a lavish 18th century palace, built in French chateaux style and complemented by the then celebrated landscape artist, Capability Brown’s inspirational and awe-inspiring 850 acre garden design.

As it opened its doors to the world, a first-class hotel back in 1924, it was immediately considered the ‘Riviera of the Highlands’ or better still, the ‘eighth wonder of the world’, with the original management vowing their intention to ‘create happiness’, a vow it continues to honour to this day.

Not surprisingly then, by the 1930’s at the height of fashion of prestigious golf hotels, it became famous as the playground par excellence for sporting guests in search of leisure and pleasure within the most luxurious surroundings.

Albeit regal and luxurious though, “Gleneagles” and its professional staff have a refreshingly relaxed manner, with friendly, always courteous service - in its grand tradition of exceptional hospitality and entertainment.

The guestrooms as well as all hotel facilities are exclusively designed using muted, understated colours and natural quality fabrics and furnishings, sure to please its discerning, esteemed guests.
