“Balbirnie House” is an authentic Georgian mansion, privately owned and personally managed by the Russell family who have taken great care in providing the true warmth of Scottish hospitality, blending grandeur and an atmosphere of quiet, relaxed informality, pervasive throughout this spectacular mansion’s rooms and public areas.

The immense and imposing structure is set in a four hundred acre estate surrounded by lush foliage and woodlands, overlooking the stunning Balbirnie Park golf course.
Individually designed and furnished rooms enchant with lots of character and warmth, many of the deluxe four-poster bed suites are surprisingly spacious with large windows and magnificent views over the gardens.

Guests have a choice of two sublime restaurants, the Orangery or The Bistro, each with an emphasis on creating classic dishes using the freshest seasonal and local produce, and, at every opportunity, the wonderful natural larder that Scotland provides for a gastronomic feast guests will taste and savour as a once in a lifetime experience.
