“Myres Castle”, quietly secluded and nestled in the Kingdom of Fife, a leisurely drive from Edinburgh, is set majestically on a rise enclosed by a tall stone wall within its 44 acre estate.

Local legend has it that the approx. 450 year old Spanish Chestnut tree on the front lawn was originally planted by Mary Queen of Scots during one of her visits, occupying the very “tower suite” now named in her honour.

Originally a 16th century fortress, it has been lovingly restored through the years.
