Assynt House

“Assynt House” dates back to the 1700’s, nestled in the bucolic Ross-shire countryside just outside the small village of Evanton, a short drive north of Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland.

Surrounded by gardens and woodland, this wonderful house has something for everyone, from quiet leisurely strolls to an abundance of activities, ranging from excellent Golf courses, prime salmon and sea trout fishing expeditions on the River Alness, to dolphin and wildlife watching, including seals and red kites along the Moray Firth, boat cruising and sunset boat trips, canoeing and much more, all in one superb location.

Upon your return to the house, you can relax and unwind in one of the unique, individually designed en-suite bedrooms, featuring generous, brightly lit contemporary spaces, filled with crisp clean fabrics and classic furnishings, all with the added luxury of under floor heating, to keep all its welcome guests warm and comfy.

Graham and Elizabeth Waugh, homeowners, will gladly cater to your fine Scottish dining experience, offering up delicious wholesome meals, from the local farmers’ daily fresh produce selections.
