Manoir de Lormarin

“Manoir de Lormarin” is a distinctive, charmingly restored 16th century abode, in the heart of the Natural Park of Perche, secluded in the Nogent-le-Rotrou countryside.

The manor has been lovingly refurbished by its current owners, who have taken great care in preserving the original architecture and details, intent on bringing the characteristic manor back to its past glory and vibrant habitable life.

Indeed the Cristin family have transformed this once austere fortress into a warm and inviting home, re-conditioning and reviving also the adjacent commons into wonderful workshops where the Cristins continue to practice their crafts. One of the buildings houses an exceptional antique shop, where guests can linger for hours admiring the many period pieces and fine antique furniture.

Part of this wonderful manor was once an authentic baker’s house fallen into disrepair due to centuries of neglect. After meticulous remodelling and restoration, it now provides deluxe, exclusive accommodations in a wonderfully comfortable and tastefully furnished ambience from which guests can discover the truly surprising pleasures of life as it was, unspoilt and uncluttered, in a tranquil and restful haven.
