“Castello di Caigliano Country Inn” is a characteristic medieval town set around the imposing 16th century manor, which was the property of the Holy See in the past. Set in enchanting countryside, the estate is a little idyllic oasis and, thanks to it central position with regard to the most important Umbrian towns, represents a strategic departure point for the exploration of this beautiful region.

The apartments have been renovated with great care and are finely furnished with antique furniture, offering relaxation, comfort and charm.

A real hidden treasure is the hanging garden, with mini-swimming pool, hammock, sun loungers and the wonderful panorama of the green hills with their fragrances and colours; a truly stupendous place for a relaxing time in tune with nature.

‘Il Re Beve’, considered one of the best restaurants in central Umbria, is in the converted wine cellar of the castle, with a Bohemian vault ceiling and tables made with wood from wine barrels: a unique atmosphere where exquisite dishes can be enjoyed, accompanied by a selected wine list with over fifty Umbrian, national and international labels. In summer, there are also barbecues in front of spectacular sunsets on the panoramic terrace.

Lastly, for a romantic and unforgettable evening, the castle offers a special candlelit dinner: in the private dining room for only two people, the chef prepares dishes which excite the most demanding of palates.
