The “Antica Dimora alla Rocca”, a historical building in the centre of the suggestive medieval town of Trevi, is an illustrious example and testimony to ancient local history, today under the custody of the Ministry for Historical Buildings and the Environment.
This splendid residence comprises two suggestive historical buildings dating from the 17th century and which once had notable importance, being the headquarters of the members of the seven dignitaries college.
The rooms, of differing type, are distributed in the Palazzo Urighi and Palazzo Valenti. Furnished with taste and period furniture, they have splendid ceilings with exposed wooden beams and fantastic views.
The opulent suites are all on the aristocratic floor and have walls and ceilings decorated with 17th-century frescoes.
Furthermore, they have sumptuous marble bathrooms and all have every modern amenity which only a luxurious hotel can offer. Another seven rooms, with wood-beamed ceilings or brick arches, and three two-room apartments are situated in the Medieval Village of Mostaccio.
The renowned “La Prepositura” restaurant is an exclusive and relaxing environment where Umbrian cuisine and delicacies can be enjoyed.
