Immersed into a vast Mediterranean garden with the scent of orange blossoms and jasmine, the “Verde Nobile, Dimora di Charme” is an ancient villa dating back to the mid-800, located on an acropolis at a short distance from Acireale, with a wonderful view of Taormina, the Calabrian coast and the majestic Mount Etna.

This ancient place belongs to the same family since three generations and it is part of an agricultural farm of nearly five acres, planted with citrus and olive trees and plenty of fruit trees. After a long and careful restoration it has been transformed into a charming residence for all those guests looking for tranquility, elegance and charm: a holiday among nature dedicated to "slow living".

The garden and the courtyard of the villa are a great outdoor living area and from the marvellous garden guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views as well as enchanting sunrises and sunsets. During the summer breakfast is served in the courtyard, while in winter guests can enjoy the experience of having breakfast in the historic and picturesque winery where a wide variety of fresh local homemade products can be tasted.

Each of the five rooms of the property has its own name and its own history which guests can discover, and is decorated with different styles, featuring all major comforts. The rooms feature a heating system but are not air-conditioned thanks to the excellent location of the villa, situated on an acropolis that enjoys a cool and windy microclimate and thanks to its construction: thick walls in lava stone and a system of arches on the facade that protect it from the warm humid southern winds.

Among the hotel's amenities, there is a spa built in a small winery, which reminds of an ancient thermal bath. The small spa offers: herbal tea corner, whirlpool, shower and massage area.

Thanks to its location, all main tourist attractions such as Acireale, Catania, Taormina, Mount Etna, Ragusa, Siracusa and Piazza Armerina can be easily reached.
“Verde Nobile" offers its rooms from April to December, while it hosts events, meetings, exhibitions and educational and food and wine tours during the entire year, thanks to the event hall with its bar located in the ancient wine cellar.
