Becoming art of the town of Rivalta in the 11th century, Torre di San Martino is special: Elegant as well as being homely, relaxing and, as you will find out, magic.
The property has an elegant entrance and ten rooms, each different, with modern amenities in an atmosphere of past times (wooden ceilings, four-poster beds, velvets and authentic period furniture.
Dominating the town, Castello di Rivalta is open for guided visits, while the garden and guest quarters are used for banquets, events, symposiums, conventions and marriages, (with possible use of the 14th century San Martino church).
Accommodation, originally craftsman workshops and peasant homes, have been strikingly transformed since 1950 for hospitality, restaurants, bars, wine shops and characteristic shops selling local products.
Rivalta has two restaurants: “La Rocchetta” and “La Locanda del Falco” where visitors can sample fine local wines produced by the Valtidone Winemakers who use the ancient castle cellars for aging their wines.
