Cortijo del Marqués

The Cortijo del Marques is an ancient building that has been refurbished and converted into a charming, very original and beautiful hotel.

This unique spot in located in the outskirts of the city of Granada, and surrounded by ancient olive trees, and beautiful wheat and sunflower fields.

The rooms are really amazing…..you will find very original rooms that differ from one another.

The Cisterns Room, with its own fireplace and four roman columns and a bath built around a huge olive oil cistern. The Granary Room, which is the former granery. High ceilings and a gigantic tiled bathtub.

The Pigeon Loft Room, a romantic suite where the old pigeon niches used to be. Wooden floors, a stove and high ceilings that make this a very charming loft. The Church Room, a suite with views of the swimming pool and a XIX century bathroom with a freestanding tub.

The Stately Room, where the original owners of El Cortijo would sleep. From the small balcony, guests can admire the olive groves and the starry skies, very romantic indeed. The Stables Room, a very large room that has the original wooden mangers!.

The Tower Room, filled with sunlight and features four large windows that overlook the surrounding landscape and the Cortijo’s patios. The Carpentry Room, that has the original carpenter’s workbench that is used now as a desk.

The Lookout Room, with its beautiful views to all directions and high ceilings with a freestanding bathtub. And if you are looking for total independence, choose The Cottage Room, it is the only room that is separated from the main building, and it has its own fireplace and two levels for more space and comfort.


The hotel also features a beautiful large swimming pool where you can also relax and sunbathe.
