The Hospederia Señorio de Casalarreina, is located in the heart of the town of Casalarreina, in La Rioja.

Casalarreina, belongs to the region of Haro in La Rioja. This ancient region of Casalarreina, formerly belonged to the Counts of Haro and Dukes of Frías, locales began calling it Casa de la Reina (the Queen's House), because the Queen Juana la Loca stayed in the palace of the Constables in 1511.

Later, in 1524 Pope Adriano traveled to Casalarreina for the inauguration of the Dominican Convent of la Piedad. Invited by the Bishop of Calahorra. In 1671 Casalarreina is finally declared an independent town.

The building where the Hospederia Señorio de Casalarreina is today, was once the College of San Nicolás and Young Girl’s College of Nuestra Señora de la Piedad.

In the hotel interior and the rooms you will see the old stone walls, mirrors, lamps, curtains, etc.. all these details in the decoration will make you feel that time had stayed still ....
