Hotel Castillo de Santa Catalina

The Hotel Monumento Castillo de Santa Catalina, was originally built as a fortress in 1624 by King Philip IV of Spain. This fortress facing the Mediterranean Sea, was built in order to defend the city of Malaga from the attacks of the British.

Today, the Castillo de Santa Catalina has been renovated and turned into a Hotel Monument that has been declared of cultural interest.
The Castillo de Santa Catalina still retains the luxury and elegant charm. It is located in El Limonar, within an exclusive residential area and close to the historical center of the city of Malaga.

The hotel has 11 spacious rooms and about 3,500 m2 of beautiful gardens, plus several terraces overlooking the sea.
