The Monnàber Vell Hotel is located in a beautiful valley at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountain, surrounded by a rich environment in the middle of wild nature.
The building was built before 1236, after the conquest of the islands by Catalonia, transforming it into a Majorcan stately home in the seventeenth century and later on in what is now the Hotel Monnaber Vell.
This whole area is made of flat and fertile land reason why it is called "Es Pla de Mallorca."
Nearby guests can find the Chapel of San Miguel, built after the Catalan conquest in 1229, and the famous caves of Campanet which were discovered in 1945.
Near the hotel gardens, are the terraces and fields planted with fruit and olive trees up to 800 years old, and forests of pines and oaks. All this fertile valley is crossed by the stream reason why it’s vegetation offers beautiful flowers full of vivid colors.
The rooms of the Monnaber Vell are filled with natural light, overlooking the garden where guests can breathe the warm and familiar Mediterranean flavor and tradition.
The hotel also has a restaurant, which serves not only traditional dishes, but made with the finest local produce and great care in its preparation.
On the terrace the hotel organizes barbecues to allow guests to savor both the local hunting and fishing.
The Monnaber Vell also has a lovely and well kept pool, making it a place to enjoy complete peace and the best sunshine of the island.
