Hacienda el Santiscal

This small jewel of the fifteenth century, has been tastefully restored and converted into what is today, The Santiscal. The hotel is named after a rustic roman villa, discovered in the late nineteenth century.

Its location offers magnificent views of the Natural Reserve and it is located in Arcos de la Frontera, capital of the Route of the White Villages of Cadiz, near the Natural Reserve of Grazalema, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. In addition, this “Green Hotel”, has been given two quality certifications, "Parque Natural de Andalucía" and "ECEAT".

The actual owners have poured all their love and much of their life into this beautiful hotel. They have been able to maintain the maximum of the original structure, and have added, with much creativity and good taste, all the comforts and necessary luxuries that make this charming and secluded piece of heaven a very attractive place to visit.

The rooms have bright colors on the walls, and mix with antique furniture, being all different and some retaining the high ceilings and brick floors.

The hotel restaurant offers guests romantic evenings having dinner under those starry skies full of light on the patio and surrounded by jasmine, geraniums and bougainville.

During the day there are several tourist routes to enjoy, such as a visit to the Bodegas Domecq, Gonzalez Byass or Williams. See the Carthusian horses of the Royal School, sitting at Puerto Sherry, tasting Brandy at the Bodegas Osborne or visiting the beautiful Doñana National Park.
