Consolación

The Hotel Consolacion represents a different type of construction, that manages to achieve a total fusion between the past and the present. Furthermore it is located in the middle of wild nature at it’s best, and full of charm, exactly in Matarraña, a region of Aragon, Teruel and in the border between Castellon and Tarragona.

The rooms are definitely "different", they actually represent holes in the mountains, they are like cubes sticking out of the rocks and give one the feeling of having open a hole in the mountain in order to be able to enjoy the spectacular views.

The Hotel has an interesting library, that you might want to explorer while enjoying a glass of wine. It also offers several different spaces, including the "Lobby Bar" where you can taste a good coffee or tea while relaxing and letting yourself being treated like a true king.

Once you step outside, behind the spectacular pool, you will find the terraces, here you can take a walk and be surrounded by wild nature. If you walk a bit further, you will come across the Little Church, that does not belong to the hotel, but it is a must see place that complements with the beautiful landscape full of natural charm. In the Church you will be able to see a fresco painted by Felipe Pellicer and also see Our ​​Lady of Consolation.

The Hotel Consolacion, also offers magnificent dining, elaborated with the best local products, such as, lamb, truffles, ham, cheese, and an infinite number of flavors and products that these lands produce.
