El Far Hotel

This beautiful architectural complex is called San Sebastian de la Guarda. It is formed by the watchtower and a fifteenth century chapel. Today is has become the Hotel-Restaurant Far.

The views that the Hotel has are truly spectacular, since it is located on the top of a cliff of 175 meters high and surrounded by beautiful beaches.

The Far Hotel-Restaurant, is part of the prestigious Mas de Torrent Group, and from the Far Hotel guests will be able to see the beaches of Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell.

The Far Hotel-Restaurant was an old inn of the eighteenth century, and its walls are still emanating old times full of history, pilgrims used to look here for a place to sleep on their way to their villages.

The restoration of El Far Hotel-Restaurant converted this building in a luxury and hotel and a gastronomic restaurant. The kitchen is run by chef Tony Saez, who offers an exquisite and elegant venue of maritime tradition, with fresh sea food and typical products of the Costa Brava. All guest rooms are decorated in blue tones resulting in an elegant and relaxed maritime style. In the courtyard there is a beautiful stone double staircase leading to the Master Suite and the other rooms. From every room you see the Empordà and the Pyrenees and above all can enjoy the sunsets that are really spectacular
