Hotel Orfila

The Hotel Orfila is a former palace of the nineteenth century, renovated and converted into a hotel in 1999. Situated in a privileged enclave in the capital of Madrid, but in aquiet residential area and within their own cultural and business center, just few meters from the Plaza de Colon.

This beautiful mansion still maintains the noble air of it's time, but including all the modern conveniences of a luxury hotel. A year after the hotel opened it's doors it became part of the Relais Chateaux chain, and now it is included among the world's most prestigious hotels, noted for it's character, courtesy, calm, charm and cuisine.

The Hotel Orfila, is the only hotel in Madrid where the architecture and decoration of each room is different from each other. The nineteenth-century furniture has been brought directly from different European countries. Here the Venetian chairs mix with specially embroidered bathrobes with the initials of the hotel regular clients. As you can see, the Hotel Orfila pays utmost attention to detail and luxury, refinement and comfort allow customers to feel they are still part of the nineteenth century.

In the restaurant called "El Jardin de Orfila" guests will breathe an atmosphere of total tranquility, certainly an oasis in the capital, plus enjoy an excellent selection of wines along with it's fine cuisine.
