The Hotel Fonda de la Tea, is a refurbished building from the 19th century and it's located in Tejeda, in the center of the island of Gran Canaria. Surrounded by the majestic landscape.

The entire area makes it possible to enjoy great natural resources, such as, Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga monuments, besides the most beautiful agricultural landscapes of mountain and the villages of Espinillo, La Higuerilla or Juan Gómez.

The hotel's reception along with the Lobby, occupy the oldest part of the building and recreate a former old oil and vinegar store. Its original floor stands out because the floor tiles are in stone.

Guests can enjoy the most absolute silence, and this ensures an environment that invites to reading, besides enjoying a beautiful landscape benefiting from the fireplace light.

All rooms have views to the mountains and are comfortably equipped, to make your stay enjoyable.

The hotel offers a restaurant in a harmonious environment where the oil painted still-life on the old wood seems takes life. The space is specially designed to enjoy the select local gastronomy, such as, pumpkin with honey from the mountains tortilla, firewood/fist bread, cream of potatoes, homemade bienmesabe or fillet with garlic cumin broth. The bread is made locally.
