Hotel Casa del Capitel Nazari

The Hotel Casa del Capitel Nazarí is an ancient Reinnassance palace that was built in 1503.

It is located in the picturesque area of the Albaicin, in front of the Alhambra in Granada and close to the city centre and the cathedral. It is a palace with lintels and Tuscan columns, Corinth capitals, Arabic chromium-plated beams, Renaissance decorated wooden ceiling and two Roman columns.

Among all the artistic whole, stands out an exquisite Nazari capital carved in alabaster, it is a unique piece. The wooden beams support the first and second floors. From the main courtyard, guests have access to the entire building. One of the rooms overlooks the Alhambra.

The rehabilitation of this hotel was carried out maintaining the original materials, and preserving the XVI century atmosphere, the result is a hotel where you can enjoy the charm of the old world without sacrificing modern life.

The Casa del Capitel Nazari was awarded with a prize called, the Prestige City Tour of Granada in 2006, and has been also awarded with several quality awards, and recently, the Q for Quality issued by AENOR.
