Overlooking the square of the medieval town of Barisciano, the Palazzo La Loggia is a historic building dating from the 13th century, which has retained its original characteristics and atmosphere, situated on the slopes of the Gran Sasso National Park.
Guests will enjoy their stay in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere: indeed, the property has only 3 rooms, some with four poster bed and others with fireplace, completely renovated and featuring all modern comforts but still maintaining their original style. The pieces of furniture are antique and the rooms have stone floors and exposed beams. Great attention has been paid to details, such as the original and authentic linen sheets and the typical local bedcovers called "tarante" which are hand-woven by local artisans.
Breakfast is served every morning in a typical environment, characterized by a medieval stone arch built in 1400, and guests will enjoy fresh local products and homemade cakes.
And for moments of relaxation, a lovely garden and a terrace are at guests' disposal just next to the property. The hotel also offers free WiFi Internet and a shuttle service to the station of L'Aquila, which is at just 15 km.
