The Torre Medivale Lungarno of the medieval bridge over the Arno, is located at the entrance of the medieval town of Pratovecchio. It was built by the Counts Guidi in the middle of the XI° century. Is the first historic building along the ancient walls encircled the town of Pratovecchio.

Here, you can spend a lovely stay immersed in the story: after a thorough restoration was carried out, in fact, a beautiful detached house equipped with every comfort and air conditioning. The medieval tower is spread over three floors with an area of about 100 square meters terrace. The access is located on the 1st level through typical wooden staircase (33 steps) and leads into the hallway equipped with hangers and input in the master bedroom (20 sqm) with majestic walls built and cleverly restored, enriched by decorations that recall the feudal period.

In each wall of the friendly room there are the typical slits overlooking the Arno river and the garden. Inside the room access to a private bathroom (4 sqm), built in compliance with the architectural forms of the structure and provided with toilet, bidet, shower and antique marble sink. From the hallway a staircase leads to the living room (28 sqm) with bright antique sofa, armchairs, satellite TV, dining table with four chairs, storage space and feature wooden kitchen fully equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, two burners and antique marble sink. From living a scale of nine steps leads to the loft (10 sqm) with a comfortable single bed and second bathroom decor enhanced by showing various external Valley castles and equipped with toilet, bidet and washbasin. From the loft a few steps lead to the terrace.

The flagship of the Medieval Tower is definitely a delightful panoramic terrace (35 sqm) overlooking the Valley of the Casentino, the Medieval Castles of Poppi, Romena and Porciano. The terrace is equipped with a SPA Jacuzzi, sun , night lighting, roof garden, barbecue grill lava stone, drinking water, dining table and chairs. Here you can organize lovely romantic dinners by candlelight under the stars.

At the request of any use of the pool in about 1,5 km, to be shared with other guests, or the Arno River on the border with the residence. The owners are awaiting the guests with their specialties, both on arrival, and every mid-week. The tower is equipped with a washing machine, but at the center of Pratovecchio is a laundry room.

The sea Adriatrico is approx. 90 minutes and the Tyrrhenian Sea approx. 120 minutes by car. And it's possible to swim in the lake, which is approx. 1.5 km from the center of the village of Pratovecchio or Stay in the Arno river. Excursions can be made to the Park Zoo Poppi, to the Sanctuary of La Verna and the hermitage of Camaldoli in the Casentino Forests National Park . Florence and Arezzo are a 50- minute drive away, Siena 80 minutes. From Arezzo you get to Rome by train fast only in one hour and 5 minutes, so day trips are possible to the capital.
