Rifugium zu Sanct Kassian

The Refugium zu Sanct Kassian is situated at just minutes from the famous town of Merano. The careful and respectful restoration of the Refugium is an example of architecture which takes care of the original characteristics of the building and of its integration into the surrounding landscape.

Still today, the mighty walls of the former "priest house" contain the monastic spirit of the place. Guests will have the pleasure to admire the breathtaking panorama that from the property opens to the south.

The Refugium of San Cassiano is composed of 3 apartments, each of which is characterized by a different style. The first floor apartment is an homage to minimalism, with its elegant and refined postmodern style.

The second floor instead has a rural charm. It's beautiful kitchen made of apple wood is warm and cozy, typical of mountain houses. The Tyrolean "Stube" disposes of a tiled stove, the antlers of a deer and warm wood-paneled walls.

The apartment on the third floor has a rather urban style: indeed, it is an open space filled with light that will captivate the heart of contemporary art lovers. The ambiance is modern and very chic, with a technological and functionally equipped kitchen.

The garden, which includes a lush botanical garden, hosts a natural bathing pond and a large white tent for relaxing massages in the shade of tall shrubs, from where guests can reach the large amazing terrace.

Along with its meeting room and the cellar, the terrace is a space independent from the apartments, ideal for meetings, presentations, business meetings, seminars or other events.
