Castello Gredic

The Gredic Castle is situated among the lush hills of the marvellous Collio region, near the border between Italy and Slovenia, just 20 minutes from Udine and 5 minutes from Cormons. After careful restoration works, the castle has finally opened its doors, revealing rooms equipped with the most modern comforts and exclusive services.

The castle disposes of an excellent restaurant and of a large wine cellar. The famous Michelin-starred restaurant is led by the chef Cristian Avenanti, who will surprise his guests with a Mediterranean-style cuisine, in which he combines modern interpretations with ancient flavors, and where he offers a large choice of different dishes and wines.

The castle's wine cellar really makes the difference: indeed, it offers a complete selection of wines from the Collio area and also from the whole of Italy and Slovenia. The wine cellar is located in an enchanting surrounding: the cellars of the castle have been renovated in a modern way, creating comfortable spaces where tastings and relaxation perfectly melt together. Guests also have the possibility of purchasing their favourite wines at the best prices, directly form the producers.

The Collio area is full of wineries , each with its own philosophy and history, that highlight the passion with which wine producers in this region produce their wines.
