Luco Castle, situated near Acquasanta Terme, about 15km from Ascoli, is one of the rarest and unusual castles of Piceno, still conserving intact today its 11th century medieval architectonic aspect.
The village surrounds the base of the castle with its environmental and architectonic characteristics which greatly contribute to maintain the medieval dimensions of the place.
The four suites, created from a 15th-century ancient craftsmen’s residence and with original terracotta flooring, travertine-visible walls and wood-beamed ceilings, take their names from the grandmothers of the Amici family: Eva, Maria, Elena and Maria Teresa. All four suites have a splendid view over the countryside.
In their simplicity, the furnishings recall medieval life without renouncing the conveniences of modern life.
Unique of its kind for its characteristic round shape, inside the castle there are original frescoes and the arched ceilings of the restaurant create an ancestral atmosphere in which refined local dishes can be tasted.
