Enchanting “Castello di Lamole Country House” is situated in a small Tuscany town of medieval origins and is set amongst the suggestive scenario of the hills and vineyards of Chianti. Built in 1200 as a defensive post on the Florence border during the period of the wars between Florence and Siena, Castello di Lamole is today an oasis of peace characterised by the traditions and hospitality of the Tuscany region.

Created out of the careful renovation of the hamlet, the apartments have been completed fully respecting the originality and fascination of the ancient building. Furnished with period and rustic furniture, terracotta flooring or clear ‘serena’ stone, ornate ceilings and beautiful chestnut wood beams, pastel plasterwork or stone walls, the apartments evoke a special atmosphere of past times, yet have all the most modern comforts.

The windows open out onto a pretty garden with panoramic terraces, small pathways, stone steps and full of rose, rosemary and lavender plants.
Tall secular cypress, larch and chestnut trees frame the splendid swimming pool and the entire residence, which offers a unique stay in the heart of Tuscany, the region of history and art. The restaurant offers delightful country recipes and sells local specialities from the their own farm: wines, spirits, olive oil and honey.
