Château de Saint Augustin

In the beating heart of France lies a historic monument of great relevance: Saint-Augustin’s Castle, a jewel of Bourbonnais architecture, built using polychromatic bricks. The castle has been rebuilt in early XVIII century by Michel Cadier, first Baron of Vauce, who turned the Castle into his hunt residency, where he stayed for three months each year.

The honour court is surrounded by six buildings. The Castle offers five rooms and a suite all furnished with a unique 800’s style with a view on the surrounding forest.

The Castle is ready to receive its guests at any time of the year. The Castle offers a peaceful world that combines a historical, princely atmosphere with a relaxing, unpretentious atmosphere.

The Castle is located in a magical atmosphere where silence is a steady and reassuring presence. Guests are not only clients, but above all are friends and therefore treated with care and affection, in fact everybody eats together at a big table in a magnificent Italian dining room.

Each and every room has its own style and characteristics, furnished in a unique and elegant way. Each room has a large, comfortable private bathroom.

The Castle also has a chapel, a trophy room and nearby park ideal for walks and picnics.
