Castello Camemi Resort

The Castello Camemi is located Inside the Valley of Noto, a unique setting recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Built in the XV century, it served as the Ventimiglia’s dinasty residence, a Genoese family of Sicilian origins.

The colours of this land immediately touch a person’s soul. As in an artist’s palette, the deep green of the surrounding vegetation, the white stone streets and the plane dust-gold melt compose amazing landscapes.

Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, dominates and guards this realm. Carefully restored to maintain intact the original elements, the Castle is a unique opportunity to retrace time.

Fourteen rooms provide an experience of old time luxury and elegance. Skilful preservation has contributed to maintaining the Castle’s original fascination. Positioned on the “noble floor”, the central court and the old oil mill it is easy to be amazed at some small details, like the at-sight beams, whh ihave been wisely emphasized and preserved.

The old barn houses the restaurant where, as if by magic, ancient recipes, delicious and unforgettable, find new life. The cellar is well prepared to accompany our meals with the right wine selection. The stone floors of the XVII century, the wooden beams and walls made of stones will remind us that we have travelled time and have crossed another reality.

Some famous and important cities such as: Noto, Catania, Taormina, are nearby and easily accessible, therefore it is possible to enjoy their historical and cultural richness.
