Surrounded by vineyards and fruit orchards around Appiano, and enclosed by a boundary wall covered in ivy and grapevines, the idyllic residence “Hotel Castello Korb” is situated near the village of Missiano. Built in 1236, the then residential tower of Messrs von Korb became the property of different aristocratic families, was enlarged several times and lastly, in 1918, was acquired by the Dellago family who, through meticulous and loving renovation, transformed the imposing crenellated castle into an exemplary vineyard, romantic hotel and restaurant with gourmet cuisine.

The 20,000 bottles include delicious ‘nectars’ from the Dellago estate, appreciated by fans from all over; the South Tyrolean vineyards are well represented, with rare years and fine wines, such as Château Petrus 1975, Château Rothschild, Armarone and many others.

Wine is also an expression of culture and the aim of Fritz Dellago has always been to unite the two things. In this sense, the wine cellar does not only have tastings, but also cultural events such as vernissage (private inaugurations), readings and concerts.

The luminous meeting salons, the Tyrolean guesthouse and the knights’ salon in “Castel Boymont” on the hill, all make an unequalled setting for conferences, banquets or business dinners. Allow yourselves to be captivated by the informal atmosphere blended with all-round hospitality.
