Parador de Toledo

Located on the "Cerro del Emperador", overlooking the meandering areas of the Tajo, the Parador de Toledo offers an unrivalled panoramic view over the monumental former capital of Spain, Charles V's imperial city and melting pot of three cultures: Christian, Jewish and Muslim with its most precious gems such as the Alcázar Cathedral and the synagogue, not to mention the famous House-Museum of El Greco.

Located only 4 km from the historic centre, the hotel also has a very inviting pool and gives its guests the opportunity of organizing many activities tied to nature. The rooms, terraces and a swimming pool overlook the city, with about 2000 years of history, and you can notice its greatness and luxurious structure from the inside. The decor, comfortable, is made up of vaults, stairs, wood railing and mudéjar elements such as rugs and tiles (typically Arab).

In the dining room typical dishes of the Castilla-La Mancha are served such as stewed partridge Toledo style, roast lamb, cheeses and ice-cream with honey and the famous mazapanes (marzipan) of Toledo.

And of course the area offers a multitude of attractions: Madrid is only 70 miles and Aranjuez with its palaces and magnificent gardens only 50 km.Montes de Toledo and the Route of Don Quixote, which, among other things, takes to Consuegra (70 km) with its legendary windmills, discovering the land of La Mancha.
