The luxurious Parador de Santiago de Compostela, dating back to the 15th century is located in the old city, in the Plaza do Obradoiro, which also contains some of the most important monuments:the Cathedral, the Town Hall and the College of San Xerome. It has four cloisters of immense beauty, 120 rooms, including the "Royal Suite" with an awesome salon, Jacuzzi and balcony with view on the magnificent Baroque façade of the Cathedral and the nearby buildings, or the "Suite" in honour of Cardinal Bishop Quiroga Palacios Galicia:with two four-poster beds, fireplace, shower, wonderful wood coffered ceiling in mudejar style, and other works of great value, such as the friar's chair of the 17th century, made of gold thread, and the baroque painting of Santa Dorotea.

In both restaurants, you can enjoy high-quality products cooked in Galician style, in two different environments: very careful and selective or more informal and traditional. They offer fresh fish caught in the Atlantic together with meats and cheeses typical of the land, and desserts such as apple fritters, cream and not to mention a well-stocked cellar of wines and spirits.
