Parador de Olite

The Parador of Olite occupies a good part ofthe majestic XV century building declared national monument, strategically located on the plains, Olite, and is 42 km south of Pamplona, in an ideal region for adventure sports such as hang gliding, paragliding, canyoning, water sports and rock climbing.

The common areas and some of the rooms are integrated in the building, while the remaining rooms are in a separate outbuilding.
Amongst its stone walls there are niches that contribute to improving the medieval atmosphere of the place.

Windows, arches and other medieval elements are preserved inside. King Charles III, nicknamed "The Noble" lived, like his predecessors, in the Royal Palace of Olite, then the New Palace was built.
Among the various rooms still preserved, the most exceptional room is the one with canopied beds, original fireplace and a window in masonry walls where you can admire the monastery of San Francisco and the Sierra de Ujué, known as the "Agnes of Cleves”, who was the wife of the Prince of Viana ta Maria.

And among the columns of the dining-room, between the brick arches, is the ideal environment to enjoy local produce such as asparagus from Navarra, piquillo peppers, lamb stew or ajoarriero cod. In addition, the hotel has several meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 200 people.
